Application principle:
During the ultrasonic immersion welding process, the heat generated by a separate energy source is used to melt the filler metal, and then ultrasonic vibration energy is added. The melted solder is used as the transmission medium for ultrasonic vibration. When high-frequency vibration energy is applied to melt welding, ultrasonic cavitation occurs on the surface of the welding tool to decompose and disperse surface oxides. The microbubble of the void ruptures, cleaning the surface of the solder to allow the moist solder to combine with pure metal. Vibration also ensures that there are no gaps in the solder joints, and the vibration energy forces the liquid solder into the cracks and micropores in the substrate. It helps to seal the parts and increase the surface area where solder can bond. Ultrasonic vibration can also extrude bubbles from liquid solder, making this method suitable for high vacuum applications that require airtight sealing of the joint.
The basic principle of ultrasonic immersion welding is similar to the ultrasonic cleaning process. During this process, vibration can generate holes in water baths or cleaning solvents. Components immersed in liquid media are cleaned by the strong corrosive effect of vacuum bubbles that collapse in the liquid.
